Sain bain uu mini ger bul!
It's a lovely week here in UB. The weather gets better everyday. I am down to one pair of tights and not zipping my jacket- so that is the best. I believe it was 13 celsisus (no idea what that is in farenheit) Saturday so that was awesome. We ate ice cream again, just saying. We have a new family we are teaching. In English! She is from Mongolia and he is from the Seychelles Islands, and they have three children. The Seychelles Island I BELIEVE is clsoe to Madagascar. So basically they are the coolest family. The husband doesn't know Mongolian, so they speak Russian with each other. How cool?? She is a non practicing Buddhist and he is a very devout Christian. Him and his children went to a catholic church together in the Seychelles. It's a very cool dynamic! He really wants his wife to believe in Christ, and he is very passionate. She is very quite and is a good listener. She said something in our lesson that I loved. I asked if she believed in God, and she said, "Yes, of course, I know with my heart that there is a God." How beautiful? I know that God is our Heavenly Father and loves us. He speaks to us. He speaks to our hearts. I know this is true. I know he wants us so badly to come to Him and follow His word. I know that if we read and do his word we can return to Him. The way is Christ. I know He is our Savior and Redeemer and knows us. He loves us. Infinitely, indivudally and perfectly. The family came to church and it was awesome. The husband afterwards said, "You are doing God's work, thank you." It was very humbling to be told that from an investigator. I'm very humbled to be on the Lord's errand right now, and I am so grateful to be teaching these wonderful people in this wonderful country.
Some shout outs- Happy Birthday last week Noah!!!!!! Love you, kid. Happy anniversary Taylor and Michelle! LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH.
love you to the moon and back.
